Key Responsibilities

  • •Set and lead CIC’s overall tax strategy for tax credit investments and proprietary investment platforms.
  • •Oversee review of partnership tax returns, K-1s, tax projections, and compliance/reporting for CIC investments and funds.
  • •Serve as primary subject matter expert for LIHTC, HTC, NMTC, including research and interpretation of complex tax issues.
  • •Lead and develop the CIC tax team, including coaching, performance expectations, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • •Drive process improvements to strengthen internal controls, enhance management reporting/oversight, and support audit responses.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
  • •10+ years of relevant tax experience.
  • •7+ years of experience with tax credit investments, including LIHTC, HTC, NMTC, or similar structures.
  • •CPA.
  • •Strong knowledge of partnership taxation and tax-oriented investment structures, including experience with tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
