Job Summary

Design and test RF microwave components and phased-array applications, integrating and validating component- and system-level phased-array hardware. Provide technical support to production activities and support phased array antenna systems, including active and passive microwave components. Apply electromagnetic and microwave theory and use simulation and analytical tools to support development. May travel to integration sites and customer/subcontractor facilities as needed.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
•RF/microwave system, subsystem, and component analysis, design, and test experience.
•Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition, and analytical tools such as Matlab.
•Background designing and testing analog Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), including frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design, and analog filter design.
•Strong hands-on experience with microwave testing techniques using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs).
