Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and continuously improve the company-wide procurement process, including administering Zip to keep it efficient, scalable, and easy to use.
  • •Lead strategic sourcing and negotiations for material vendors to improve pricing, terms, commitments, and overall value using market intelligence and usage data.
  • •Build a proactive vendor-management program with visibility into contracts, spend, ownership, renewals, utilization, performance, and consolidation opportunities.
  • •Partner with Finance, Engineering, and business leaders to improve commercial economics for SaaS, cloud, data, AI, and other technology spend.
  • •Drive procurement adoption through clear policies, self-service resources, and employee education, using AI and automation to make procurement faster and more proactive.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or technology-spend management, including personal ownership of material negotiations.
  • •Experience meaningfully improving procurement processes in a high-growth technology company (B2C, subscription, SaaS, or fintech preferred).
  • •Hands-on experience administering a procurement-orchestration or workflow platform (intake, routing, permissions, reporting).
  • •Experience sourcing and negotiating technology spend across SaaS, cloud infrastructure, data, AI, or other consumption-based vendor models.
  • •Ability to partner with Finance and Engineering to manage usage-based tech spend and translate cost/usage insights into commercial decisions.
