Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the core Databricks team to plan and execute pipeline transition to the target data platform.
  • •Lead offshore team efforts to enhance, stabilize, and optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliable AWS deployment.
  • •Define and operationalize repeatable engineering patterns for ingestion, transformation, testing, deployment, and monitoring across datasets.
  • •Enable asset-agnostic data onboarding and support integration with the enterprise data mastering platform (including golden record/golden copy workflows).
  • •Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, driving engineering rigor across delivery, production readiness, support models, and incident management.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or related engineering domains.
  • •5+ years leading engineering teams, preferably in distributed or offshore delivery.
  • •Strong hands-on experience building batch and/or streaming data pipelines in a modern data engineering environment.
  • •Strong familiarity with AWS cloud-native data engineering, including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and AWS Lake Formation.
  • •Experience with Databricks-based lakehouse platforms and data mastering/integration patterns (e.g., MDM, trusted distribution workflows).
