Assistant Credit Reviewer within the Internal Audit Department Credit Review team, supporting credit risk monitoring and reporting. Job Function: Executive & General Management

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct a review of approved credit applications to determine, based on the agreed sampling methodology, whether applications will require a more detailed review (Full File Reviews ‘FFRs’).
•Conduct a Full File Review of assigned credit applications to ensure accuracy of the Obligor and Facility Grades as well as Borrower’s Category (such as substandard / default).
•Discuss issues found and raise questions with FO person in charge when clarifications are required to complete the credit reviews.
•Discuss and agree with the Credit Review Partner observations / recommendations that need to be raised.
•Submit reviews to Credit Review Partner for approval including drafting recommendations and observations.
•Undertake the follow-up and closure of any recommendations raised.
•Conduct review of provisions.
•Complete any other administrative / ad-hoc tasks assigned by Credit Review Partner including onboarding new joiners (access requests etc), regular reconciliation of folders, findings issued, production of data, scheduling of meetings, meeting minutes.
