Key Responsibilities

  • •Support MOT design and alternative delivery projects for transportation teams across the southern US.
  • •Develop MOT design packages for highway improvement projects using defined deliverable components.
  • •Create and/or contribute to MOT drawings including cross sections, typical cross sections, traffic control plans, and profiles.
  • •Produce temporary signing and pavement markings and develop detour routes as part of MOT design.
  • •Work with teams to deliver MOT CAD/design work for alternative delivery project needs, including mega-projects.

Key Requirements

  • •For MOT CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Experience or interest developing design packages for highway improvement projects; familiarity with MOT design deliverables (cross sections, traffic control plans, profiles, detours, temporary signing/pavement markings).
