Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-functional corrective action and continuous improvement teams for significant quality programs and activities.
  • •Develop and initiate inspection, testing, and evaluation techniques for incoming goods; review results and oversee disposition of unaccepted items.
  • •Create inspection plans by part number and evaluate/assign quality requirements to purchase orders with Supply Chain.
  • •Partner with Production, Quality Assurance, Materials, and other departments to define quality standards and procedures; ensure proper handling of nonconformities and customer complaints.
  • •Lead quality issue investigation and resolution, develop systems for product conformance, and execute quality management system improvements including PFMEA/DFMEA, APQP, and PPAP/supplier review activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 126,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • •2+ years of experience using quality engineering tools.
  • •2+ years of experience reading blueprints and understanding GD&T principles.
  • •Must be a U.S. person under ITAR (US Citizen, US Permanent Resident/Green Card holder, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
  • •Must reside within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY; relocation is not available.
