Job Summary

Install and prepare data-center racks for new devices, managing rack-and-stack power and cable connectivity while coordinating with vendors/OEMs. Handle hardware and data-center operations including device inventory, EOL redeployment/disposal, hardware failure trend analysis and uptime reporting, and SLA/ticket management. Perform hands-on configuration and installation of network devices and services, support diagnostics and troubleshooting, and work in rotational 24x7 shifts with possible overnight domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare rack elevation for new device installations, ensuring governance for rack-and-stack power and cable connectivity for server/network equipment.
•Conduct hardware and data-center activity overview, including hardware failure trend analysis and hardware uptime reporting.
•Manage complete data-center device inventory, including redeployment of assets and disposal of EOL assets.
•Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for network/server equipment and for network and fiber cabling in tech rooms.
•Provide hands-on configuration, installation, monitoring, and diagnostics for network devices and services; manage tickets/SLA and understand OSI/TCP-IP routing concepts.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an authorized university.
•Relevant server certification is an added advantage.
•Minimum 2–3 years of experience for an L1 position.
•Basic understanding of the ITIL framework (SLA, change, problem, and incident management).
•Knowledge of ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow; willingness to work rotational 24x7 shifts and handle travel with overnight domestic requirements.
