Job Summary

Safely diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile and ground equipment in a field/plant environment. Oversee daily work-area inspections, track time and equipment data in the Infield system, and manage work orders in CMMS. Fuel equipment, complete parts and work order forms, and perform timely repairs using troubleshooting, cutting, and welding skills. Follow MSHA standards and maintain safety-focused housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely diagnose problems and make repairs while performing services on equipment in a safe, timely manner.
•Inspect the work area daily and maintain a safe, clean work area with housekeeping as directed by the foreman.
•Accurately track time spent on equipment and submit time entry in the Infield system.
•Manage work orders in the CMMS system and complete parts requests and work order forms.
•Follow MSHA standards and report safety concerns immediately; fuel equipment and accurately record equipment number, fuel used, and meter readings.

Key Requirements

•High school or equivalent.
•Experience with light, medium, and heavy on/off-highway gas, propane, and diesel-powered equipment and tugboats.
•Proficiency troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, hydraulic, power train, and other systems on vehicles/equipment and tugboats.
•Ability to cut and weld proficiently.
•Ability to read, understand, and follow service, repair, operator, and parts manuals and schematics.
