Job Summary

Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment in a safe, team-based environment. Follow operating instructions, read and interpret instruments (pressure, temperature, level gauges), maintain equipment by changing filters and performing light maintenance, and ensure product quality with minimal supervision. Handle hazardous materials and move dry raw materials, operate forklifts and related equipment, and respond appropriately to plant emergencies while keeping accurate written daily records and reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Demonstrate safe work behavior and follow all safety rules and regulations.
•Read and follow operating instructions; monitor process and equipment using control systems.
•Observe and maintain product quality, making required corrections with minimal supervision.
•Handle dry raw materials (including 50 lb containers), work with hazardous materials, and operate equipment (pumps, valves, walk-behind lift, labelers, printers).
•Change filters, perform light maintenance, operate and maintain a forklift safely, and respond appropriately to plant emergencies while maintaining records and housekeeping.

Key Requirements

•Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
•At least 3 years of experience in a chemical plant as a board/control operator or similar role.
•Willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating shift and overtime as needed.
•Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel, with ability to learn new systems quickly.
•Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship/support available.
