Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as primary client point of contact, responding to inquiries and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
  • •Coordinate multiple disciplines while leading mechanical engineering delivery, managing the mechanical team and ensuring projects are within budget and on schedule.
  • •Develop detailed specifications for mechanical equipment including pumps, fans, and air handling units.
  • •Provide technical support during construction by responding to RFIs and resolving issues that arise; attend job site visits, project meetings, and commissioning activities.
  • •Stay current on relevant codes and technologies, analyze mechanical system performance and energy usage, and recommend upgrades or new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 10 years of relevant mechanical design/engineering experience focused on data center infrastructure, or equivalent experience/education.
  • •Professional Engineer License (P.E.) required.
  • •Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and fire suppression systems design and construction for data centers or other critical facilities.
  • •Experience working with computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software.
  • •Demonstrated leadership and ability to build and maintain client relationships with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
