Own technical development of Cymer deep-ultraviolet (DUV) laser discharge chambers, designing, validating, and reviewing new features to improve performance. Key Responsibilities

•Serve as technical owner for Cymer DUV laser discharge chamber development, designing, validating, and reviewing new features.
•Drive development and integration of core technology/system concepts to improve excimer laser chambers.
•Validate concepts via prototype builds, system-level testing, analysis, and independent investigation of technical problems.
•Collaborate with program/project managers, technical marketing, and system engineers to develop and productize technologies.
•Prepare and revise technical documentation, including technical memos, specifications, and design validation reports; present results to management.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of a Master’s degree; 3+ years of relevant industry or research institute experience (less experience considered for PhD).
•Background in Physics/Plasma Physics, Material Science/Metallurgy, Electrical Engineering/Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, or related engineering/applied physics.
•Specialty in plasma-materials interaction (especially metal) and gas-state laser physics.
•Track record proposing and validating innovative solutions to technical problems.
•Extensive experimental/laboratory experience and ability to use MATLAB or Python for data analysis.
