Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker focused on consultative sales to identify and meet customers’ financial needs. After a 4–8 week onboarding and education program (with rotations and certification), process teller transactions and support platform staffing. Build customer profiles using Financial Needs Assessment, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling through outreach, outside sales activities, and referrals with business partners.

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business products/services using the company value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and schedule periodic financial reviews.
•Focus on cross-selling and support outside sales activities, while meeting/exceeding customer experience and production goals tied to Financial Center P&L.
•Provide guidance on sales/referrals, process teller transactions, and refer customers to assigned business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) when appropriate.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Understand advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Obtain/maintain S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
