Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment, including templates, customization files, role-based configurations, and default settings across the organization.
  • •Administer NX installations and license servers and manage integration with Teamcenter PLM, including version upgrades, patches, and deployments.
  • •Configure and maintain standardized part families, product configurators, drawing templates, and reusable component libraries to enforce design consistency.
  • •Lead root cause investigations for recurring CAD/PLM issues and define, implement, and verify corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence.
  • •Develop automation tools, scripts, and customizations using NXOpen API and Knowledge Fusion to streamline repetitive design and data management tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years’ experience administering and configuring Siemens NX in a CAD administration or NX configuration role in an engineering or production environment.
  • •Configure NX templates, customization files, role-based settings, and standardized environments for multi-user deployments.
  • •Create and maintain part families, product configurators, and reusable component libraries to support design consistency.
  • •Interpret NX Logs/Sys Logs to troubleshoot CAD/PLM issues effectively.
  • •Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and CAD/PLM technical documentation; demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.
