Operate and monitor gas and steam turbines, HRSGs, potline rectifiers, and related utility systems to ensure safe, smooth, continuous plant performance in your designated area. Execute shift instructions, record routine parameter readings, report abnormalities, keep standby equipment ready for emergencies, and support testing and re-commissioning after maintenance. Follow safe working practices, participate in hazard reporting, maintain housekeeping standards, and complete on-the-job training.

•Ensure plant and equipment are operated safely and efficiently in the designated area.
•Carry out shift instructions promptly, record routine parameter readings, and report deviations.
•Inform the supervisor/control room of abnormalities or problems on equipment.
•Keep standby equipment readily available for service in emergencies.
•Assist with routine testing and re-commissioning after maintenance outages, while following safe working practices and emergency procedures.

Key Requirements

•Higher Secondary School Certificate.
•4 years in a power station.
•2 years’ work experience as a Desalination Operator (PG7) or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
•Achieved competencies in all areas except DCR operation.
•Intermediate 3 (or equivalent) English skills to prepare and complete shift reports.
