Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Work across project life stages from early strategy/site identification through feasibility, optioneering, outline and detailed design, discharging conditions, construction, and operation/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements under established quality management procedures.
  • •Use project management skills to manage resources and budgets (with support as applicable).
  • •Collaborate within integrated design teams to identify environmental constraints, develop avoidance/mitigation solutions, engage client relationships, and pursue business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental assessment methods, planning legislation, and relevant consenting and licensing regimes, with experience of DCO and/or TWAO as a bonus.
  • •Experience delivering consultancy services with strong project management skills, including programming, resourcing, and budget management.
  • •Confidently engage with a wide range of stakeholders and produce strong verbal, report writing, and technical review outputs.
  • •A degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Master’s level) with appropriate professional membership; Chartered Environmentalist status advantageous.
