Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, develop, and manage product marketing strategies to drive fund inflows from new and existing clients in Japan.
  • •Collaborate with the wholesale sales team to understand distributor and investor audiences, delivering marketing content, materials, and activities.
  • •Develop and deliver compliant client communications in an online and offline environment using innovative approaches.
  • •Execute campaigns across traditional media, social and digital media, websites, events, partnerships, and collaterals to raise HSBC AM’s profile among retail clients.
  • •Track market and competitor activities, manage external vendors, partner with internal stakeholders, and ensure global standards and compliance/audit requirements are fully met.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years’ marketing experience in a financial institution, preferably asset management with presence in the retail investment trust market.
  • •Experience delivering product marketing materials and content.
  • •Strong understanding of local regulations, client profiles, and the competitive landscape.
  • •In-depth knowledge of financial terminology and asset management concepts.
  • •Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
