Key Responsibilities

  • •Recruit, select, and hire licensed marine personnel based on minimum safe manning requirements set by government regulators.
  • •Manage crew deployments to the fleet and plan training and revalidation of seafarers’ qualifications, including SOLAS and STCW95 requirements.
  • •Own the full lifecycle of specific HR processes, including maintaining physical or digital employee files.
  • •Submit tickets to the Global People Services Team to update HR system data and review/approve payroll claims for system updates.
  • •Serve as the point of contact for general, payroll, and timesheet queries; coordinate onboarding/offboarding, generate HR documents, and provide HR metrics reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or diploma in maritime studies, human resources, business administration, or related fields, plus a certification or license in crewing management or maritime law.
  • •Minimum 4–6 years administrative experience, including at least 3 years in a marine licensed crewing role.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • •Ability to apply discretion and maintain confidentiality, with strong urgency and problem-solving.
  • •Proficient in HR systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Alfresco) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
