Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to and convey a Life Enrichment philosophy that supports residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality.
  • •Lead and/or oversee individual and group programs daily, encouraging and tracking resident participation.
  • •Design creative and engaging programs based on residents’ needs and interests.
  • •Plan a monthly calendar and distribute monthly Life Enrichment schedules for one-on-one programs and group activities.
  • •Manage supplies and oversight of the Life Enrichment budget and ensure programs meet state and federal regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Rec Therapist, COTA, or education and/or experience in the field of teaching or nursing is preferred.
  • •Certification by NCCAP (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals) is preferred.
  • •Minimum of one year working with senior population is preferred (previous experience will be considered).
  • •Excellent communication in English and strong organizational and time-management skills. Flexible hours; weekends, holidays, and evenings required.
