Key Responsibilities

  • •Review bar charts, Installation Plans (IP), and Shop Order Instances (SOI) to determine assignments and obtain rig documents and drawings
  • •Locate work areas using drawings/documentation, verify kitted parts and assemblies against IP/SOI/BOM, and retrieve parts from storage locations
  • •Set up assembly tools, drill/ream/countersink holes, install fasteners, and align/install door assemblies on the aircraft structure
  • •Adjust door fit/alignment, install door hardware (seals and sensors), apply sealants/primers/finishes, and perform seal checks using vacuum pressurization and ultrasonic leak detectors
  • •Install evacuation slides, perform functional/operational tests on door systems, handle hazardous materials, maintain FOD-free work areas, and document job handicaps
