Job Summary

Lead the Legal function as a strategic business partner, reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO and leadership team. Own commercial contracting and negotiation to support growth while managing risk across a global SaaS environment. Build and shape the legal operating model, lead and develop a team of counsels across geographies, and strengthen governance, privacy/compliance, litigation oversight, and investor/due-diligence readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Own commercial contracts and negotiation, ensuring customer and supplier agreements are commercially robust and structured to protect and benefit the business.
•Lead and shape the Legal function, managing a team of counsels and developing the right operating model, including ways of working and team structure.
•Ensure strong legal governance and a pragmatic risk-management approach across a global SaaS environment.
•Strengthen investor and event readiness through well-positioned documentation, contracts, and corporate housekeeping for due diligence.
•Build relationships with Francisco Partners and engage with the wider GC community across the portfolio.

Key Requirements

•Proven General Counsel experience with strong commercial instincts and credibility with senior leadership in a fast-moving, PE-backed SaaS environment.
•Qualified lawyer with current practising rights (e.g., Solicitor/Barrister, JD, or equivalent) in a relevant jurisdiction.
•Track record negotiating and shaping customer and supplier contracts in a SaaS environment, balancing risk versus reward practically.
•People leadership experience building and developing high-performing legal teams and shaping the legal operating model (business partnering, playbooks, templates, governance frameworks).
•Experience across data privacy/regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), employment/HR matters, IP protection, disputes/litigation, and due diligence/transaction readiness.
