Job Summary

Join Emerson's NI Test and Measurement unit as a Hardware Analog Engineer in the Development Engineering group. You will design analog/mixed-signal circuits, assess part obsolescence, verify designs with CAD tools (Mentor Graphics), drive DFM/yield improvements, perform failure analysis, and mentor junior engineers while creating debugging tools for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

•Research and propose alternative parts with effective solutions to avoid major software/product calibration or hardware topology changes when replacing EOL parts in NI products.
•Implement and simulate designs through CAD tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics).
•Verify and validate hardware redesigns; debug issues that arise.
•Apply failure analysis to root cause issues during early V&V and manufacturing builds.
•Integrate DFM inputs from manufacturing to improve product yield and quality

Key Requirements

•B.Eng/M.Eng/BS/MS in electrical engineering or computer engineering (fresh graduates)
•Strong knowledge of analog design principles including op-amps, filters, and transistors
•Experience with analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters; power supply design; analog testing/troubleshooting; signal integrity, layout and grounding; basic digital design
•English language competency and effective communication in technical settings
•Demonstrated ability to diagnose technical problems, propose options, and apply solutions; take ownership of product success
