Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims using digital tools in line with contract, corporate guidelines, and state laws.
  • •Investigate claim damages by communicating with insureds, internal claims adjusters, and third-party vendors; conduct face-to-face interactions as needed.
  • •Review facts of loss and vehicle damage to determine subrogation opportunities and ensure supporting documentation is included.
  • •Maintain accurate, current claim file documentation and productivity through timely follow-ups and correct repair plan/timeline mapping.
  • •Support fraud indicator review and escalations (including Special Investigations Unit referrals when applicable) and participate in CAT response/on-call and travel when assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •2 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts/coverages and the claim appraisal process.

  • •Obtain and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days (and 3 attempts).
