Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical design and development for systems that calculate and manage margin requirements, financing interest, funding costs, and treasury workflows across asset classes.
  • •Architect and build scalable, low-latency applications for near real-time trade processing and portfolio financing/optimization.
  • •Act as technical lead for Treasury Engineering, driving architecture decisions, engineering standards, and long-term platform strategy.
  • •Partner with Portfolio Finance, Repo Trading, Quantitative Research, and Software Engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • •Improve performance, resiliency, scalability, and observability of existing services; automate workflows and maintain production stability.
  • •Evaluate new technologies and architectural approaches for the technology roadmap.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex production systems, with a record of serving as a technical lead while staying hands-on.
  • •Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or another object-oriented language.
  • •Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, concurrency, and scalable application design.
  • •Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL or Oracle (or similar).
  • •Experience building cloud-native applications using AWS (or comparable cloud platforms), plus highly available fault-tolerant systems.
