Job Summary

Lead segmental business development for the durable business across Great China, acting as a bridge between brand-owner/OEM/ODM/customer stakeholders and internal R&D, production, quality, and sales teams. Own market scoping, customer needs clarification, and opportunity pipeline building, driving product spec-in/design-in and NPD commercialization to improve customer experience and shorten troubleshooting cycles.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute overall segmental business strategy for the durable business.
•Investigate and summarize market dynamics/trends, value chain, competitor landscape, and customer segmentation; define product solution value proposition.
•Build a business opportunity pipeline and drive NPD activities to ensure sustainable business growth.
•Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, commercial, and supporting teams) to ensure commercialization of new products and end-user satisfaction.
•Collaborate with other business divisions and global teams for cross-regional and global customer/end-user business development.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ experience in segment marketing and/or business development.
•Experience with material solutions or PSA application is a plus.
•Familiarity with end-user and customer qualification processes, certifications, and industrial standards; knowledge of automobiles, electronics, electrical appliances, power tools, IVD and qualification processes is a plus.
•Proven success leading NPD activities and commercialization at customers/end-users.
•Good cross-functional/regional communication and customer interaction skills, with good written and spoken English.
