Job Summary

Support manufacturing operations as an entry-level automation technician, including PLC/HMI programming, equipment implementation/startup, and troubleshooting/optimization of manufacturing control systems. Work on either AM or PM rotating crews and ensure electrical control systems are maintained and updated. Assist with new equipment installation and MES integration, keep electrical drawings current, and document/control problem solutions and continuous improvement projects while following safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
•Assist with equipment implementation/startup and coordinate new equipment installation and MES integration events.
•Perform PLC/HMI programming and upgrades specified by the Controls Engineering Department.
•Maintain and update manufacturing process tool electrical drawings and document equipment change tracking.
•Identify, research, document, and present solutions to control problems and continuous improvement projects while interfacing with multiple departments and following safety procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26.97 - 38.46 hourly

Key Requirements

•2+ years of manufacturing equipment electrical/electronic/controls experience.
•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Controls, or Electronic Engineering (preferred).
•5+ years verifiable experience in a related field if no degree is held (e.g., semiconductors, automotive).
•Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve electrical/electronic control systems in a manufacturing environment.
•Proficiency with PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting, including Rockwell Automation Logix and HMI systems (FactoryTalk View ME; Proface a plus).
