Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Project Manager and/or Engineering Manager with management of engineering team performance across planned project activities.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering deliverables (e.g., diagrams, line/equipment lists), monitor transmittals, and support compliance with the Design Basis.
  • •Track and deliver against engineering manhour budgets and project schedule requirements; report progress issues and alert senior personnel of potential delays/changes.
  • •Coordinate procurement package creation and scope-of-work documentation, including bid evaluation/clarifications, and align material take-offs with the estimating team.
  • •Support change management, RFIs with construction as needed, risk identification/mitigation, and develop corrective action plans when discipline performance deviates.

Key Requirements

  • •Registration as a P.Eng. with a minimum of 7 years of broad experience in Oil, Gas & Chemicals projects or EPCM consulting projects.
  • •Experience with engineering design/progressing and engineering package development, including contract development, scope of work writing, EWP definition, quantity management, change control, and scheduling/planning.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of engineering quality management and applying engineering principles across multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Experience coordinating engineering deliverables, procurement activities, and project schedules.
  • •Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood now or in the future.
