Key Responsibilities

  • •Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
  • •Manage and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, payroll-related accounts, and intercompany activity.
  • •Maintain balance sheet integrity through aging analysis, variance review, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • •Develop and improve close calendar, reconciliation standards, and review controls to enable a faster, more scalable close.
  • •Own accounting for significant infrastructure and compute-related spend (cloud hosting, GPU capacity, data center costs, prepaid commitments, vendor accruals) and support accounting treatment for capitalized software and internal-use technology.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth technology, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or similarly complex environments.
  • •Own the general ledger and month-end close with strong accrual accounting, reconciliations, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, and payroll accounting experience.
  • •Deep technical accounting knowledge, including ASC 350-40 and ASC 842.
  • •Experience improving accounting processes and controls in a fast-growing organization, and supporting external audits with audit-ready documentation.
  • •Systems-oriented experience with ERPs such as NetSuite and comfort working with large datasets using SQL, BigQuery, and finance data tools.
