Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform process design work for Callidus Combustion Technologies, including flares, burners, and thermal oxidizers, to produce deliverables for proposals and equipment project execution.
  • •Interface with sales teams and other engineering disciplines to deliver optimized design solutions that meet customer technical requirements.
  • •Work in a team to develop process deliverables such as heat and material balances, PFDs and P&IDs, equipment sizing, and utility summaries.
  • •Run process simulation tools for design and alternate cases, including piping sizing, hydraulics, and major equipment specifications.
  • •Support customer technical specification reviews, troubleshoot process engineering problems during initial startup, and participate in customer technical meetings including HAZOPs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
  • •10+ years of engineering experience with significant relevant design knowledge of combustion technologies in flares, burners and/or TOs.
  • •Extensive process simulation experience using UniSim and combustion technology-specific standalone design programs and Excel-based design tools.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others.
  • •Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and support tool infrastructure and development.
