Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical machinery and plant equipment to minimize downtime, following EHS guidelines and supporting continuous improvement. Respond to electrical breakdowns across LV-MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs, breakers, and soft starters. Conduct planned preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnose failures, replace/repair components, and use SAP to order spares and record maintenance work while supporting safety initiatives and knowledge transfer.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Attend electrical equipment breakdowns including LV-MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, plant lightings, transformers, UPS, VFD, breakers, and soft starters.
•Perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance with minimal direction and supervision.
•Diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot plant and equipment issues.
•Repair or replace required items, re-assemble equipment, and test while maintaining a clean working area.
•Use SAP to order spare parts and maintain records of maintenance work; ensure work follows safety procedures and plant requirements.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in a relevant field.
•Completion of PEC Craft Training.
•3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma (or no experience required after PEC Craft Training).
•Experience in installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
•Able to read and understand engineering drawings/manuals/instructions.
