Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand the physical-chemical principles of dishwasher cleaning and how they are modeled.
  • •Develop numerical cleaning models and integrate them into the existing simulation environment.
  • •Validate simulation results by comparing with experimental data for model calibration and verification.
  • •Collaborate closely with colleagues from different disciplines to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • •Explore questions such as how cleaning works and how simulations can enable optimization of hardware and processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a relevant field such as Computational Engineering Science, Optimization and Simulation, Simulation Based Engineering, Computational Mathematics or Physical Engineering sciences, and pursuing a degree or thesis project.
  • •Strong affinity for numerical modeling and programming, ideally in C++.
  • •Experience with flow simulation, ideally STAR-CCM+®.
  • •Basic knowledge in materials science, fluid mechanics, contact mechanics, and surface chemistry is a plus.
  • •Self-motivated, structured, and capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team with good English skills.
