Key Responsibilities

  • •Own delivery and industrialization of a “New to Dyson” product portfolio, including new product introduction and in-life sustaining activities for the business unit plan.
  • •Lead an integrated GSC plan across manufacturing engineering, tooling, manufacturing test, procurement, production planning, after sales, and external partners to industrialize the portfolio.
  • •Coordinate inputs through supplier selection for outsourcing activities; ensure required capacity is installed on time to deliver products to markets on time and in full.
  • •Evaluate business unit–sponsored projects and change requests, identify risks, and drive escalation and mitigation through agreed channels.
  • •Manage CAPEX requests and CAPEX budget vs actuals, ensure portfolio status reporting, and chair NPO portfolio reviews with risk/issue management rigor.

Key Requirements

  • •STEM degree (or equivalent experience) and strong project leadership in manufacturing/operations, ideally new product introduction.
  • •Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and executing them in parallel.
  • •Ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence senior leaders across functions, translating strategic and technical considerations.
  • •Strong understanding of governance including compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks, with clear risk/issue mitigation communication.
  • •Knowledge of PM/OM tools and managing CAPEX budgets for multiple projects; familiarity with ISO13485, APQP, ISO9001, IATF16949, and VDA 6.3 is expected.
