Job Summary

The role focuses on supply chain engineering for electromechanical parts used in robotic systems. Key Responsibilities

•Improve quality, cost, delivery, and capacity metrics for wire harness assemblies, PCBAs, and other electromechanical hardware used in humanoid robotic systems.
•Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers to gain an in-depth knowledge of piece part, assembly, metrology, and/or sub-system design intent
•Support the procurement team to strategically source parts matched with supplier competencies by reviewing and assessing supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
•Own the new product introduction of new parts, including determining the ideal manufacturing method, identifying and qualifying suppliers, and developing a reliable process for ramping to rate
•Lead resolution of supplier quality issues through root cause analysis, while functioning as liaison between purchasing, engineering, production, and suppliers

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline
•5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain engineering, supplier development, or quality
•Knowledge of processes used in wire harness assemblies, PCB/PCBA, motor assemblies, actuators, or other electromechanical components
•Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP) and MRP/ERP systems
•Ability to travel up to 30%
