Job Summary

Payroll Specialist responsible for payroll accounting, tax compliance, and general payroll operations. Maintains payroll accounts, prepares reports, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports internal/external audits. Requires hands-on payroll experience, familiarity with ADP platforms, and exposure to Middle East payroll regulations. Based in Amman, working onsite to support local and regional payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
•Prepare accounting schedules, exhibits, summaries, and reports.
•Identify the need for new accounts or revisions to the account structure.
•Research and provide guidance on the accounting treatment of complex payroll transactions.
•Perform periodic internal audits of payroll areas and prepare materials for internal and external audits.

Key Requirements

•Completed at least 2 years in college; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
•FPC or CPP certification preferred.
•Extensive knowledge of ADP Celergo, Streamline, Globalview, and/or other ADP platforms such as ADP WorkforceNow, Smart Compliance, GLI required.
•Proven experience with payroll systems implementation and payroll tax compliance.
•At least 2 years of hands-on payroll experience required.
