Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when needed.
  • •Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork, and deliver documentation after route completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.

  • •Pass a DOT physical, since trucks driven are over 10,000 lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Maintain strong interpersonal and customer service skills when communicating with customers and staff at delivery points.
