Key Responsibilities

  • •Define operational objectives and implement approved strategies, policies, and procedures for safe, efficient, and revenue-optimised cargo operations across aircraft types and locations.
  • •Ensure compliance with SOPs for consistent and accurate cargo handling.
  • •Investigate accidents, incidents, service failures, irregularities, and customer complaints; identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • •Monitor KPIs and Safety Performance Targets in line with UAE GCAA standards, covering bulk and ULD-based operations.
  • •Oversee day-to-day cargo operations at DXB and DWC, liaise with dnata/third-party partners at DWC for SLA compliance and operational readiness, and coordinate regulatory interactions for smooth cargo movement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree with 3+ years
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in cargo operations, freight handling, and aviation ground operations
  • •Experience managing large operational teams in cargo, aviation, or ground handling environments
  • •Advanced Cargo & Dangerous Goods courses (Cargo Knowledge, Documentation, Special Load Handling; DGR Cat 6 or CBTA equivalent)
  • •Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA CBTA 7.3A or UAE GCAA FIT4.1D) and certifications including Safety Management Systems, Aviation Security, and Special Cargo Products
