Job Summary

Work toward becoming a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use consultative selling and Financial Needs Assessments to identify customers’ needs, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive appointments and cross-selling. Partner with business teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) while meeting customer experience and production goals in a Financial Center environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Drive cross-selling and outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community financial literacy events, as directed.
•Process teller transactions and provide guidance/referrals through assigned business partners to deliver holistic financial solutions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
