Job Summary

Apply actuarial, technical, and business knowledge to support informed decision-making and delivery of company strategy. Develop and test complex propositions or numerical models using business data, prepare reports and papers for senior leadership, and lead small-scale or longer projects. Serve as actuarial subject-matter expert on strategic initiatives, communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and mentor actuarial trainees and analysts.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the specification, development, and testing of complex propositions or numerical models, analyzing business data and making recommendations to senior actuaries and/or management.
•Lead, develop, coach, and mentor actuarial trainees and analysts to maximize their contribution.
•Prepare papers and reports for senior management and executives with suitable supervision.
•Lead small-scale projects or elements of larger complex projects (12+ months) to support the business.
•Act as actuarial subject matter expert on strategic business or group-level projects and communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
