Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor construction activities for compliance with OSHA, NYC DOB, FDNY, and other applicable safety regulations and standards.
  • •Review contractor Health & Safety Plans, Job Hazard Analyses, drawings, and project documentation.
  • •Conduct site audits and inspections to identify safety deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of construction safety experience, including accident investigation and prevention.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • •Valid NYC DOB Site Safety Supervisor (SST) Card and OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and NYC DOB/FDNY/DOT/DEP safety regulations, plus construction and fire safety standards (NFPA, NYC/NJ Fire Codes).
  • •Experience with hazard assessments, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and Job Hazard Analyses; valid driver’s license.
