Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-functional execution across architecture, validation, firmware, software, and production to keep power/low-power productization strategy clear and on track.
  • •Characterize and validate new power-saving features, debug silicon issues, and work with SW/FW teams to productize capabilities.
  • •Resolve complex silicon issues using structured hypotheses, measurement plans, and root-cause closure; codify fixes as reusable methodology across programs.
  • •Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows to automate characterization data analysis, metric extraction, trend checks, and reporting across multiple bring-ups with guardrails.
  • •Serve as key technical owner for multi-functional decisions, tradeoffs, and issue resolution across power, thermal, performance, firmware, and schedule constraints.

Key Requirements

  • •BS + 5 years or MS + 4 years in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •Proven experience in post-silicon bring-up and validation of silicon power features on complex ASIC/SoC programs.
  • •Hands-on expertise in power-saving mechanisms, power characterization, tester-to-system correlation, and lab fundamentals (oscilloscopes, DMM, DAQ, debuggers).
  • •End-to-end understanding of silicon behavior across architecture, firmware, validation, and platform interactions, with the ability to make sound tradeoffs across power/thermal/performance/firmware/schedule constraints.
  • •Demonstrated AI-enabled workflow built or scaled for silicon characterization/validation with adoption, measurable impact, and validation discipline.
