Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, unload, and sort hogs by quality and weight; move hogs from trucks to holding pens safely and efficiently
  • •Identify (tattoos), scale, and accurately count livestock, including tracking dead or non-ambulatory animals
  • •Process outgoing livestock as needed
  • •Monitor yard and truck conditions for animal welfare and safety compliance
  • •Perform animal welfare audits and complete required PQA/TQA animal handling and safety training
