Key Responsibilities

  • •Guard and safeguard non-citizen detainees and the general public at government buildings in custodial or court settings.
  • •Exercise surveillance and control over detainees and maintain order and discipline.
  • •Conduct detainee detention, processing, safeguarding, security, and escort duties as required by the contract.
  • •Qualify on a standard course of fire and complete assigned training, including defensive tactics and refresher training.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident with U.S. residence for the last five years.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance; pass pre-employment and random drug tests and a medical examination.
  • •At least 21 years of age; possess a valid state driver’s license or CDL and a valid firearm license.
  • •One year of Military, Security, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience; ability to obtain an armed state security guard license from Minnesota or Nebraska.
