Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop complex drawings and bills of material that accurately convey purchaser equipment applications per UL 1008 and applicable standards.
  • •Interpret and define new equipment applications with plant and field sales engineers.
  • •Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products and guide accurate production per purchaser requirements.
  • •Advise ETO/COE technicians, Manufacturing, and Purchasing as needed to support correct equipment build.
  • •Manage assigned small-to-medium projects to completion, select engineering techniques, and resolve post-shipment quality issues when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, or mechatronics engineering (or similar) from an accredited institution.
  • •1+ year of experience supporting engineering to order of electrical equipment or components.
  • •Experience with 3D modeling/design for sheet metal, copper, and assemblies.
  • •Experience or understanding of electrical wiring or schematic design.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Inventor or other CAD modeling software.
