Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers through successful big data implementations, including security and architectural design and automation best practices.
  • •Assist Solution Architects on advanced pre-sales tasks such as custom proof of concept content, workload sizing, and custom architectures.
  • •Architect production-level cloud-native governed workloads and deliver technical expertise across Databricks Lakehouse platform security and cloud infrastructure.
  • •Enable adoption through leading workshops, hackathons, and conference presentations and contribute to the broader Databricks community.
  • •Support and mentor within the role’s specialty area through internal training and learning to strengthen technical expertise.

Key Requirements

  • •Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external customers (or internal stakeholders) across industries.
  • •4+ years designing cloud infrastructure and security services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), applying cloud security and networking best practices.
  • •Hands-on experience architecting, designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud networks and connectivity (VPC/VNet design, routing, segmentation, private connectivity).
  • •Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
  • •Support customers with security lakehouse/security data platform on Databricks (e.g., augmenting SIEM, enabling security analytics and threat hunting).
