Job Summary

Lead the integration of sustainable design standards and construction practices across Crusoe’s Digital Infrastructure Group. Own portfolio-wide adoption of green building frameworks and certifications, drive improvements in data center sustainability metrics (PUE, WUE, CUE), and guide due diligence and embodied carbon strategies. Support energy, water, waste, biodiversity, and supply-chain initiatives while partnering with engineers, architects, contractors, and external stakeholders to deliver measurable ESG outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead implementation of Crusoe’s sustainable design standards across digital infrastructure projects from inception through delivery.
•Drive continuous improvement by capturing portfolio learning and updating sustainable design standards annually.
•Monitor and improve key data center sustainability metrics including PUE, WUE, and CUE.
•Support sustainability due diligence for new data center developments, including environmental impacts and permitting requirements.
•Serve as subject matter expert on green building frameworks and drive certification and embodied carbon/materials strategy across projects.

Key Requirements

•8-12 years of progressive experience in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG strategy, ideally with data center, cloud infrastructure, technology, or energy sector experience.
•Deep knowledge of data center energy consumption, cooling systems, and operational efficiency metrics (PUE, WUE, CUE).
•Expertise in sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD) plus GHG accounting and lifecycle assessments and green building certifications.
•Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-wide sustainability programs delivering measurable environmental and business outcomes.
•Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience engaging C-suite executives, investors, regulators, and cross-functional teams.
