Job Summary

Support the ongoing airworthiness of the Qantas Group fleet by providing continuing airworthiness management services for cabin-related avionics systems. Work with a specialist team to manage aircraft maintenance programs, coordinate reliability initiatives, assess modifications, and help improve safety, operational performance, and asset cost. Based in Mascot, you’ll deliver customer-focused engineering advice while exercising professional engineering judgment across CASR and related regulatory requirements.

•Provide continuing airworthiness management services for cabin-related avionics systems across aircraft fleets.
•Manage the aircraft maintenance program and support continual airworthiness through specialist engineering activities.

•Improve fleet operational performance and help optimise the cost of the asset through engineering support.
•Deliver timely, customer-focused specialist engineering advice to the Qantas Group within service level agreements.

Key Requirements

•Professional Engineering degree qualifications in Avionics, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics (or equivalent).
•Extensive experience designing and developing aircraft cabin interiors for Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
•Experience with a wide range of cabin products and vendors.
•Thorough working knowledge of CASR Part 21 and Part 42 regulations (EASA and FAA desirable).
•Manage small/medium design projects and coordinate multiple conflicting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
