Job Summary

Provide technical and engineering leadership for structural design of aluminum architectural products used in multifamily construction. You’ll lead design and review for railings, balconies, and related offerings, ensure compliance with building codes and ICC standards, and support testing protocols for materials and truss assemblies. Partner with design teams, external engineering firms, customers, and production to deliver compliant designs on time, while driving process improvements and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and review of aluminum railing, balcony, canopy, and other Endurable product offerings.
•Ensure designs comply with building codes, company standards, and industry regulations; provide technical approval for engineering seal applications.
•Collaborate with external engineering firms, serve as EOR for building projects when needed, and coordinate with internal design teams.
•Oversee testing protocols for materials and truss assemblies to ensure safety standards and compliance.
•Drive product development and process improvements to enhance quality, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 55,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
•State registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
•Minimum 5 years of structural design experience in the construction industry (timber and aluminum experience preferred).
•Proficiency with engineering software such as GSE™ Aluminum and Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB (or similar) and strong knowledge of building codes and ICC standards.
•Experience mentoring/leading engineers and managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines; strong written and verbal communication skills.
