•Drive delivery of team goals by contributing to objectives and technical strategies across teams within the group or with partner teams.
•Own system design, architecture, development, quality, and production environment deployment for solutions impacting the group.
•Design and implement robust, scalable backend solutions addressing technical and business challenges.
•Collaborate as a leader with cross-functional teams (Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other R&D teams) to align and drive synergies.
•Represent the team in design reviews, sign off on critical designs, and mentor and onboard engineers while contributing to hiring.

Key Requirements

•7+ years in backend software engineering with experience in technical leadership and strategy development across teams.
•Expertise in C# or Java (or similar object-oriented programming languages).
•Advanced SQL skills and solid experience with database management systems.
•Strong software design fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, with proficiency in microservices architecture.
•BA/BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience).
