Key Responsibilities

  • •Leading and support carbon management inputs for highways and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across all stages of design.
  • •Acting as the Carbon Lead on projects, embedding PAS 2080 principles, coordinating low-carbon solutions with the Client, ECI contractors and suppliers.
  • •Challenging designs to identify opportunities for carbon reduction and climate resilience.
  • •Developing and apply carbon assessment methodologies, governance and tools.
  • •Advising clients on low-carbon innovation and climate resilient opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in carbon assessments and management of transport infrastructure, including familiarity with PAS 2080
  • •Multi-discipline experience in infrastructure projects in design life cycle including construction
  • •Experience in technical leadership of projects, with an associated client facing role
  • •An understanding of the principles of Net Zero in a transport context
  • •Confidence in working in complex project teams (often cross-discipline) and ability to upskill staff on best practices in carbon reduction
