Job Summary

Lead TikTok’s SoundOn Artist Sales/BD efforts by identifying and signing music labels and artists, building and managing a label portfolio, and driving strategic initiatives to optimize platforms and engagement. Provide strategic and operational support to labels and their artist clients, using data-driven insights for A&R scouting and benchmark-informed improvements. Key Responsibilities

•Identify labels and artists to sign with SoundOn to build a positive, revenue-generating music catalog.
•Develop and manage a portfolio of labels, driving strategic initiatives, platform optimization, and best practices to increase engagement and product activation.
•Provide strategic and operational support for labels on TikTok platforms while delivering excellent service to label artists.
•Design, develop, and launch strategic music initiatives to bring labels to TikTok platforms at scale.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music business, Economics, Law, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
•5+ years in the music industry in A&R, business development, label/artist acquisition or development, or label relations.
•In-depth knowledge of music rights.
•Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, including expertise in contracts evaluation and music legislation.
•Strong cross-functional team cooperation to work on cross-functional projects.
